Welcome to CarolynDorin.com

As you might have read, seen or heard, Del and I are part of the Brunswick Professional Coaching Staff, which is a part of Brunswick Retail. Our main focus for our Brunswick Clinics is to help people enjoy the sport of bowling while helping to introduce them to the many programs that Brunswick Zone and Brunswick Zone XL centers have to offer. These centers are state of the art and are geared toward the open play bowler, family atmosphere, as well as corporate parties.

As we see a swing in bowling and the rise of open play and the casual bowler, we are driven to teach these people how to enjoy the game of bowling with just a few pointers.  Our  professional coaching staff include Del and myself. We are committed to spread the word of teaching the correct fundamentals so that even the beginning bowler will enjoy their experience at a BRC center,  or wherever they may bowl.

We are committed to help people enjoy the game and make them lifelong bowlers.

Del and I would like to thank Brunswick for giving us this opportunity to work together and we look forward to helping them create new bowlers as well as helping the advanced play participant.

Del and I will be traveling all over the country to BRC centers doing grand opening and clinics.  We have a clinic for everyone.  Beginners, intermediate, advanced, youth and women’s day clinics.

Check out our website www.brunswickbowling.com to see the list of centers that will be hosting clinics.  Please feel free to e-mail me through my website for any additional information you may need, or for any questions you may have.

Please also enjoy going to some of the links I have attached to my site.  One of my main objectives with my new site is to be informational and lead people to other sites that can help them learn more about our game.

Look for new things to appear on carolyndorin.com such as, ball reviews, coaching tips, pictures and even some tournament recaps.

Thank you for visiting CarolynDorin.com and please come back to see what new and exciting things are happening with Brunswick and bowling.

Thank you for your support,
Carolyn Dorin-Ballard

  5,000 Years of Bowling

The blue collar sport of bowling long associated with the Stanley Kowalskis of the world boasts an exceedingly elitist past. Cornelius Vanderbilt had private alleys installed in his North Carolina mansion, Biltmore, and bluebloods such as Mrs. John Astor hosted ladies' bowling tournaments in her Newport, Rhode Island retreat.
